Blacklight Paintings by Sarit Jacobsohn At Gallery Sarit we offer the paintings of Sarit Jacobsohn from the artist herself. We also offer prints, posters and handmade jewelry. Our goal is to share the beauty of the psychedelic fluorescent blacklight paintings by Sarit Jacobsohn. We want everyone to have the chance to experience the fantastic world of glowing beauty rarely seen in contemporary galleries. What you will find here you would be hard put to find anywhere else. Most art galleries cater to normal lighting and art with a more conservative presentation. Here, we strive for the abstract impressionist world of lines and color suggesting forms one can only imagine. Whole worlds are encapsulated in small sections of each of these abstract acrylic paintings , revealing a universe of imaginative colorful beauty reserved for the openness of one's mind. Many of her paintings are intended to be viewed in a variety of lighting conditions. What the viewer sees in sunlight is a masterpiece of wonderful colors, but when viewed under black light an amazing spectacle of glowing gardens and strange universes appears. With a select few paintings, even with the lights turned out, a stunning vision remains as the glow in the dark paint reveals itself in delicate whimsical patterns which reflect the wonders of our night sky. In an effort to make her psychedelic artwork more accessible, we offer inexpensive prints for even the smallest budget. However the original paintings are available for a price.
